Faith, Food, Family, & The Great Outdoors

About Me

Hey guys! If we haven’t met yet – my name is Susan. I’m a dreamer and a silly hearted Jesus lover. I frequently attempt to win the love and affection of family, friends, and strangers by feeding them things like boozy meatloaf, freshly baked bread, soft cookies and heavenly scones… Crossing my fingers that I’ve won a few over. I might have been born and raised in North Dakota, but my heart calls the western mountains of Wyoming home. Whether I’m sleeping under the stars by myself in the mountains, hiking with family and friends, or sitting around a crackling fire; I just can’t seem to breathe in enough nature.

I’ve been making oatmeal pancakes for my daughter since she was old enough to eat solids. From that time on, she has “helped” make her special oatmeal pancakes for many Saturday morning breakfasts.
