Come Away and Rest: Your Invitation to the Desert

Rest, Restore, Renew: Christian Women's Retreat in Arizon

“Come away by yourselves to a remote place and rest for a while.” — Mark 6:31

When Was the Last Time You Truly Rested

Not the kind of rest where you collapse on the couch after everyone’s finally in bed, scrolling mindlessly through your phone while your mind races with tomorrow’s to-do list.

Real rest. Sacred rest. The kind that restores your soul.

If you can’t remember, you’re not alone. And you’re invited to something different.

An Invitation to the Desert

From April 9-12, 2026, I’m hosting an intimate Christian women’s retreat in the stunning desert landscape of Paradise Valley Village, Phoenix, Arizona. This is Rest, Restore, Renew—four days designed to help you reconnect with God, rediscover who you are beneath all the doing, and return home spiritually refilled.

While North Dakota is still thawing from winter, you’ll be hiking through red rock canyons, praying as the sun rises over the desert, and experiencing God in the wild beauty of creation.

This isn’t a conference. It’s not another obligation on your calendar. It’s permission to exhale.

What Makes This Retreat Different?

Intimate Community

Only 8 women total. This isn’t a crowd—it’s a sisterhood. You’ll know everyone’s name. You’ll share meals together, hike together, pray for each other, and leave with friendships that continue long after you return home.

Nature as Sanctuary

The desert has a way of stripping away the noise and revealing what’s essential. We’ll spend our mornings hiking through Phoenix Mountains Preserve and the easy trails of Jewel of the Creek, creating space for God to speak in the silence and beauty.

Spiritual Depth Without Hustle

Every session is crafted to help you go deeper—not to pile on more information, but to create space for transformation. We’ll explore prayer that overcomes, practice presence with Jesus, and learn to carry spiritual renewal into everyday life.

All-Inclusive Rest

Everything is handled. Your accommodations in a beautiful Phoenix home. Nine delicious meals plus snacks. Transportation to hiking locations. Teaching materials. All you bring is yourself—and whatever you’re carrying that needs to be laid at the feet of Jesus.

Your Four-Day Journey

Day 1 – Thursday: Arrival & Welcome

Arrive and settle into your home away from home. After a welcome dinner and time to meet your retreat sisters, we’ll gather for our opening session: “At the Feet of Jesus.” Bring all your broken pieces—He sees you. We’ll set intentions for the weekend and create space for honest conversation with God.

Day 2 – Friday: The Practice of Prayer

The day begins with coffee and devotions as the desert awakens. After breakfast, we’ll dive into teaching on being faithful in prayer, followed by a moderate 2-3 mile hike through the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. The afternoon offers free time to rest, journal by the pool, or fellowship with the group. Our evening includes worship, communion, and “campfire” fellowship under the stars—sharing songs, stories, and testimonies.

Day 3 – Saturday: Practicing Presence

Another day of beautiful rhythms: morning devotions, an easy 2-3 mile nature walk at Jewel of the Creek, and extended free time for whatever your soul needs—swimming, napping, deep conversation, or solitude. Our evening session, “Soaking in His Presence,” creates space for intimacy with Jesus, followed by communion and the freedom to fellowship, soak in the hot tub, or retreat into quiet reflection.

Day 4 – Sunday: Renewal & Commissioning

We close our time together with a session on “Living Restored”—taking the lessons of the weekend back into the beautiful mess of everyday life. We’ll bless each other and send you home renewed, restored, and ready.

What’s Included in Your Investment

Your $750 all-inclusive retreat covers:

✓ 3 nights in a beautiful private Phoenix home

✓ 9 prepared meals + snacks (we eat WELL)

✓ All teaching materials and workbooks

✓ Transportation to all hiking locations

✓ Guided spiritual direction and retreat facilitation

✓ Access to pool and hot tub

✓ Intimate community with only 7 other women

Not included: Your roundtrip flight to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (typically $200-400 from North Dakota). We’ll coordinate airport shuttles so you don’t have to worry about transportation.

Real Talk About Pricing

I know $750 feels like a lot. But here’s the truth: this same experience if you tried to create it yourself (hotel for 3 nights, meals, rental car, solo trip planning) would cost $850-1,500. And you’d be alone.

This is an investment in your spiritual health. In rest that actually restores you. In showing up better for everyone you love because you’ve taken time to be refilled.

You deserve this.

Only 6 Spots Remain

I’m limiting this retreat to 8 women to ensure depth, connection, and the kind of rest that only happens in intimate community. Two spots are already filled.

6 spots remain.

If you’ve felt a tug reading this—if something in you is saying “I need this”—don’t wait. These spots will fill, and I don’t want you to miss this because you hesitated to invest in yourself.

Payment Options Available

I believe God calls you to rest, and finances shouldn’t be the barrier. If the full payment is challenging, custom payment plans are available. Email me and we’ll work something out. The goal is to get you to Phoenix—not to create financial stress.

A Final Word

Jesus looked at His disciples—exhausted, depleted, running on fumes—and He said, “Come away by yourselves to a remote place and rest for a while.”

He’s saying the same thing to you today.

The desert is waiting. Your retreat sisters are gathering. And Jesus is inviting you to come away and rest.
